Art Moves Africa (AMA) is an international not-for-profit organisation that aims to facilitate cultural and artistic exchanges within the African continent. AMA offers travel funds to artists, arts professionals and cultural operators living and working in Africa to travel within the African continent in order to engage in the exchange of information, the enhancement of skills, the development of informal networks, and the pursuit of cooperation.

It is with great pleasure that we announce that AMA's mobility grants program is back for the next three years (2020-2022), thanks to the generous support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway. 

Three deadlines are planned in 2020:

  • January 1, 2020: for projects taking place between March 1 and June 30, 2020
  • May 1, 2020: for projects taking place between July 1 and October 31, 2020
  • September 1, 2020: for projects taking place between November 1, 2020 and February 29, 2021
